Here’s why Camilla Grimsely is a big fan of our SEP program for agents.

Camilla Grimsely has been with Giving Tree Realty for a little over 18 months and is a huge fan of the Self Employed Pension program, so we sat down with her to discuss it.

In her words, “As real estate agents, we can get so caught up in the transaction to commission lifestyle that it is hard for us to think of the big picture. I’m very excited to be with a firm that supports agents’ long-term goals and encourages us to plan for our futures. I opened up my IRA as soon as I could when I started, it’s really easy to do, and I enjoy working with my agent at New York Life. Giving Tree will even contribute to the IRA, and it’s awesome to have a firm that cares about your future.”

Here’s some more information on our strategic partnership with New York Life:

• New York Life: GTR has established a “Strategic Partnership’’ with New York Life to provide financial education to Broker-Partners (B-P) and offer tailored financial advisor services.

• Following the first closing after B-P opens a retirement account or presents proof of an existing retirement account, GTR will make a one-time contribution of one hundred dollars ($100) to B-P’s retirement account.

• If B-P contributes by direct deposit at least fifty dollars ($50.00) of income from each house lead closing into their retirement account, GTR will concurrently allocate a double match bonus of one-hundred dollars ($100.00) into a bonus account of up to one thousand ($1,000) per year. At the end of the four-year term, GTR will deposit a maximum lump sum double bonus of up to four thousand dollars ($4,000) into B-P’s retirement account.

• If B-P executes 12 house lead closings per calendar year, or 20 closings per calendar year, GTR will allocate a lump sum bonus of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) per year into a bonus account. At the end of the four-year term, GTR will deposit a maximum lump sum bonus of up to four thousand dollars ($4,000) into B-P’s retirement account.
